DON’T GO, SANCHO
Jadon Sancho has been urged to snub Manchester United and stay at Borussia Dortmund for two more years by teammate Marco Reus.
The in-demand England winger, 20, is being chased by not only United, but also Chelsea and Liverpool – amongst other European giants – this summer.
Sancho seems keen to move on, too, with Dortmund chiefs all-but giving him the green light to quit – but Reus isn’t so certain.
Speaking to Bild, Reus said: “He should stay one more, maybe two years at Dortmund. In my view, there is currently nothing better for him.
“Then he can take the really big step, as an even more complete player who can continue to develop with us as a regular in the team.”
POGBA ON THE CHEAP
Prizing Paul Pogba away from Manchester United will be Real Madrid’s No1 summer transfer priority, according to reports.
Zinedine Zidane has long been a fan of his French compatriot, but despite Pogba’s desire to play at the Bernabeu, a deal up to this point has never been on the table.
According to AS, however, this could be the summer in which the 27-year-old finally completes his dream move.
The Red Devils are in a difficult bargaining position, despite Pogba being a star asset, with their No6’s contract will have a year left to run come the summer.
And despite there being an option to trigger an extra year – club chiefs know that they risk frustrating Pogba by doing so, with the midfielder having no intention of staying.
Real Madrid believe that this, coupled with the difficult state of the market following the coronavirus pandemic, could see them bag Pogba for UNDER £90m.
AUSSIE TEEN HEADING TO PL
Sydney FC’s Cameron Peupion looks set to be heading to the Premier League once the coronavirus pandemic is over.
The 17-year-old midfielder is set to join up with fellow Aussies Mat Ryan and Aaron Mooy at Brighton having impressed at the under-17s World Cup last year, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
He was subsequently handed a trial by the Seagulls and despite being yet to make his A-League debut, it appears a move is all but confirmed.
