Cameron Smith shakes hands with Brendan Steele.

Smith got up-and-down from the greenside bunker on the 18th to force a playoff and set up the victory with a brilliant approach shot from off the fairyway on the playoff hole.

“It (an individual win) has been one I’ve wanted to tick off for a long time,” Smith.

“I’ve been out here for four or five years now and to say now I’ve been able to win an event for myself if quite good.”
