LeBron James has remained the king of Australia’s NBA jersey sales and his Los Angeles Lakers continue to be as popular as ever, according to new figures provided by the league.

For the second consecutive season, the four-time MVP had the best selling jersey in the country, followed by Australia’s own Ben Simmons, then the Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum.

The list, based on sales from – which is operated by Fantatics – also features Giannis Antetokounmpo at the No. 5 spot, the Golden State Warriors ‘Stephen Curry No. 8, while the Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma made his debut in the ranking, coming in at No. 8.

The most popular NBA team remains the Lakers, while the Boston Celtics came in at the No. 2 spot; the pair of franchises the two most successful in the history of the league.

Rounding out that top five are the Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, and revamped Los Angeles Clippers.

“Rankings are based on e-commerce sales from the beginning of the 2019-20 NBA season through January 2020,” the NBA said in a press release.
